Our story began in 1985, right here in North Carolina, when our family set out to pioneer a safer, faster way to clear vegetation from utility rights-of-way. From that vision came Aerial Solutions and our one-of-a-kind Air Saw, an innovation that has since helped utility companies across the country improve safety and reliability.
Nearly four decades later, we’re still proudly family-owned and committed to the highest standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism. We continue to research, developed, and pioneer for the future of this industry, all while being dedicated to serving our customers with the same passion that started it all.
The Aerial Solutions team is dedicated to friendly service, quality results, and continuous improvement in the field of aerial trim work.
Aerial Solutions designed the air saw in 1985. Over 40 years later, we continue to improve our equipment and break ground in the field. The Air Saw, service truck, and helicopter go through constant updates to increase reliability, mobility, and efficiency. Aerial Solutions has a full research, development, and manufacturing facility that fabricates the Air Saw in-house. The Research and Development team is continuously making updates to the Air Saw and other Aerial Solutions equipment in order to reduce down time and increase both reliability and productivity.
Modifications to Aerial Solutions’ fleet of helicopters come from over 40 years of experience, making them safer and more efficient for use as Air Saw helicopters. All modifications have been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Aerial Solutions' full service maintenance department maintains its fleet of aircraft in a dedicated facility. Our maintenance program is designed to maximize safety and minimize downtime. All maintenance meets or exceeds strict FAA guidelines. Aerial Solutions’ mechanics have a combined experience of over 100 years of working on the MD 500 and A5350.
This facility is also host to our best-in-class training program where future helicopter mechanics hone their craft.
Field level mechanics are strategically located across the country to ensure that there is always a mechanic in close proximity to the helicopter. Each mechanic's service truck is equipped with a full inventory of spare parts as well as tools to perform any maintenance function necessary in the field.
All of Aerial Solutions' mechanics hold an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) and an Inspection Authorization (IA) rating.* Most of them also hold a pilot’s license.
A mechanic who has an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) rating has the ability and the authority to inspect and perform maintenance on aircraft. An additional rating on the mechanic's certificate is an Inspection Authorization (IA). This allows our mechanics to perform annual inspections on our aircraft and sign off for return to service on major repairs. A mechanic who has an IA rating has been a licensed and practicing A&P for at least 3 years before he or she can take the IA exam.
Aerial Solutions services most of the Eastern Seaboard and interior states. If you have questions about a specific location or area, please reach out to us by email at info@aerialsolutions.com or by phone at 910-653-9072.
